Tomato Spread Lutenitsa – traditional Bulgarian treat, made of ripe tomatoes and seasonings. Tastes great on crackers, bread or as a dip (side dish) for sausages, meatballs or grilled meats. All children who grew up in Bulgaria in the 70's and 80's still keep the childhood memory of the Lutenitsa. When they used to visit their grandparents, a slice of bread with lutenitsa and cheese was one of the tops wanted food. Bon Appetit!
